Really all we can do is try to make our gardens as inviting for the hogs as possible and hope that they come back. You say you have a hog house. Make sure you have plenty of material near to the hog house that they can make a nest with. They like medium sized leaves, long grasses, etc. Maybe put a handful of material into the box to give them the idea, but most hogs prefer to build the rest of the nest themselves.

Also it’s important to leave water available for them, all day every day. Shallow but wide plant saucers are ideal for that.
Don’t forget that some of the hogs will be beginning to think about hibernation now.
