Hi Celeste

Well done for letting Pets at Home know about the problems with mealworms and metabolic bone disease.

Re. the hog in the box – females tend to come out of hibernation later than the males sometimes as much as 2 months later, so some could easily still be hibernating now. It’s really important not to clean out hog houses until you are absolutely certain there is no hog in residence, so well done for spotting the hog and replacing the bedding.
