At this time of year most rescues are extremely busy with hedgehogs. If you really want to stay in touch with hogs it may be worth finding out where your nearest rescues are and offering any help. This could be mucking out to give the place a chance for a break ( hogs are truly the most filthy creatures ) or helping to overwinter if you have space for a hutch.
