Yes the same hog will visit a feeding station repeatedly if there is still food in it. However, you could also have several hogs visiting. The best way to monitor is with a wildlife camera if you have one as it make it easier to study them. But hogs vary quite a lot. They vary in size and can have darker patches in different areas. They often pick up strange stains from gardens they visit too. All hogs are furry underneath and you can see this ‘skirt’ fairly easily. In some hogs this is longer than in others or different colours. Quite often in older hogs this gets gingery in colour. Their facial shapes can also vary – some are flatter faced or pointier than others. Also there are also behavioural differences with some more aggressive than others. It really is just spending time watching and trying to identify them which does get easier the more that you do
