The petition calling on DEFRA to withdraw the A24 trap has now closed. The total number of signatures reached was 37,609.

Now is the time for everyone to write to their MPs explaining to them why this trap should be withdrawn. You can find out who your MP is and their email address, etc. from https://www.parliament.uk/mps-lords-and-offices/mps/

There is another petition about the same subject which is currently at 202,684 signatures. https://you.38degrees.org.uk/petitions/our-hedgehogs-need-help

With these two petitions together it may be possible to trigger a debate in Parliament and if that is to happen, it is our MPs who we need to be on the side of the hedgehogs. They may even be persuaded to push for a debate.

PLEASE WRITE TO YOUR MP
