Please sign this petition to help ban the use of poisonous slug pellets, which are killing hedgehogs in this country. There is an alternative organic slug pellet, which is not dangerous to hedgehogs and other wildlife. Thank you.

I don’t understand why anyone would use evil slug pellets.
We also won’t use weed killer anymore. Harder work to dig them out but better all round and a bit of exercise.Have signed both petitions. But it also got me thinking, why do these things have to go through parliament. The secretary of state for the environment has a lot of powers. Should be able to just listen to the evidence, and make an informed decision. Especially when it comes to poisons put down in the environment.
