Unwell Hedgehog in our garden

We now have two hedgehogs in our garden for the first time ever. one is smaller and doesn’t seem well. It looks to have something wrong with its snout and has some spines missing from its neck. It’s wandering around in the daytime,(is this normal?) so this morning we’ve put in our shed in a box with bedding and food and seems to be sleeping. I’m concerned that it’s not eating or drinking. Any advice would be most welcome.
You need to urgently contact the BHPS on 01584 890801 and find your nearest carer and take it to them if they are taking. If not you need to take it to your nearest vet
Time is of the essence hereI have been out to check and I’m not sure if it”s passed or gone back into hibernation. How can you tell?
