just had most of my regulars through the strawberry patch tonight. enough hoggies to make up the full cast of the wombles, i had as many as a dozen regulars last year and probably more, Cat food and a big drink of water. a nest behind the shed one under the summer house and one in my Hebe. I love Northumbrian summer nights with a herd of hoggies pottering around.

that sound lovely ! we have hogs in our garden but we don’t know how many because we cant differentiate them do you have any tips on how to tell them apart ?I wrote some tips a while ago on how to identify hogs by their natural markings, which you might be interested in:
