Hedgehogs never hibernated this year.

Here in Hampshire I’ve had several hedgehogs arriving through the night throughout the winter. There was just one quiet week between christmas and the new year. Some nights there have been at least 3 individuals. I wonder whether they didn’t hibernate due to milder weather (although I did get them skating on the frozen drink dish), or they didn’t hibernate because I was providing food.
