I now have 3 regular visitors most nights, with a Resident Female who has already constructed her nest,in one of my two hedgehog houses. I’ m sure the Adult male who was here last year, has reappeared,he has a distinctive mark on the left rear hanch, and the other one is a yearling,I’m sure, that came over from my neighbours garden last year, to find a regular supply of supplementary food and fresh water, and has returned to take advantage of the safe feeding stations I put out nightly. I set up 4 Trail cameras most nights, and have recorded them several times since their first appearance on the 3 rd of April. I’m not 100 percent sure, seeing it’s a bit early in the year, but I think the female may already have mated, after hearing what I assume was a mating?, time will tell, lol.
