There seems to be similar problems most years with hogs ‘going missing’. Not always at the same time and for the same reasons, but you are probably wise to be more laid back. There isn’t really anything we can do about it as we usually don’t know where they come and go from. All we can do is what we are already – provide them with food and water and hope they decide to come back! I guess it’s all part of being a wild hog. They do their own thing and always maintain a slight air of mystery.
