You’re right. We do miss them when they don’t turn up, but I think their air of mystery and unpredictability are part of their charm. They’re obviously on a mission elsewhere sometimes, but at least they know where they can rely on getting food, water and shelter if needed. Things seem to have settled back down to a nightly pattern here – I suppose until they think I’m getting too complacent!
