It is odd seeing them out in the daytime. My suggestion would be to contact your local carer and discuss it with them. You can give them much more precise information that we can get on the Forum. You can get the number of your local carer from BHPS 01584 890801.

Water and cat food is a good idea, but not mealworms. Although hedgehogs love them, they have very poor nutritional value for them and also have a calcium and phosphorous ratio that means it can lead to calcium being leached from the bones. I would suggest, though offering wet cat/dog food as opposed to dry, if they are youngsters and there is a possibility they might be malnourished and/or dehydrated.
