That’s a lovely story, Judith. Well done for helping the little chap out, sounds like he was in desperate need of a drink and food. I think the answer to how they manage is probably with difficulty. I understand the hogs in France are having a hard time too. I think they are the same species as here (although there may be a different species in the far south), so would need to have water. I don’t know whether they have the same sort of network of people leaving water, etc. out for them as here.

The ones that live in Africa, for instance, are a different species, so probably have adapted to need less water.
