I think you’re probably right about finding somewhere to take it. We’ll keep a close eye on him for signs that he might have an infection and ring the vet for advice if necessary. We are making some changes in the garden to make sure he’s safe, like putting hedgehog ladders in our pond just in case he heads that way and falls in as we don’t think our current stepping stones are enough.
