Very unlikely to have anything to do with the shrubs. This is the breeding season. If you had females they may have had babies. They will often stay with the babies for a couple of days before venturing out
The males may have moved on to look for new females
Either way, don’t stop feeding
It’s not common to see baby hogs in your garden until they come to weaning stage
