I’m just wondering, are you talking about a pet African pygmy hedgehog, rather than a wild Europen hedgehog? If so, you’ve come to a Forum which deals with wild hedgehogs (Erinaceaus europaeus).
If you are talking about a pet African pygmy hedgehog, perhaps the best thing to do is to take advice from whoever is treating the hedgehog, or a vet.
