It’s lovely to hear about the hogs there. Sadly, hoglets do have a fairly high mortality rate, but some hoglets do tend to begin to explore further afield when they grow up a bit, so it could be that.

Glad to hear the hoglet still visiting is a good size. Some hogs, hoglets in particular, decide not to hibernate and if that happens, just continue to offer food. I have had a couple here in the past (different years) and they continued to visit even on the coldest nights and continued to put on weight through the winter.

Fingers crossed for a successful hibernation time for all of the hogs. Good luck.
