I would be inclined to make or buy a house that’s designed specifically with hedgehogs in mind.
Something like this – it will give them the coverage they need, and they are also made locally, which is a bonus.
You can make them quite easily too, but as mentioned – you need to make sure the home you’re making is safe for them!
