Hi Nauthmisira

Brilliant news about the hedgehog/s! Really pleased for you.

Just a word of warning – neglected areas in a garden are ok, but discarded garden bits and pieces not so good. You might want to check there is nothing there hazardous to hogs, i.e. old netting or anything they could get caught in, chemicals, sharp objects, etc.

Paddling in the water bowl sounds about right! One hog motto seems to be why go round a water bowl if you can go through it! Don’t worry about them not eating the food immediately – they will if they’re hungry – but there may be enough other food around. But it’s really important to leave water, if nothing else, available all day every day, so it’s great that you’re already doing that.

Good luck with the hogs. I hope all goes well. Happy hog watching!
