Great news about the hedgehog! It sounds as if you are pretty well organised already and lucky that the food has had the hog seal of approval so soon.

If you ever see a hog in a dogs mouth it may need help from a hog carer – they can easily break the skin leading to infection – and puncture wounds can be difficult to see. Better to be safe than sorry I always think, especially with hedgehog welfare. But, hopefully your dog will be ok with them.
