I have 6 hog houses in my garden, 5 of which are now occupied and hybernating. I did have a similar situation to you in that two hogs were interested in one of the houses and there was a bit of a to-do at one point. I bought the 6th house in the hope that it would sort the problem, but had no takers. Hybernation started eary this year with the first hog getting their bedding sorted in mid-September. While last year only one house was occupied, as above five are now occupied and they are not going out anymore.
