We saw one in the garden two to three days ago after quite a long absence. We used to have up to 8 visit each evening.
I tend to put out IAMS chicken biscuits with water which previous hedgehogs used to love.
We have increased our pets so wondering if the five cats (two elderly) and a part time husky are chasing the hedgehogs away in the past. But seeing this one hedgehog is encouraging that maybe there are slowly coming back.
The garden is very green and there is access between the garden through the hedges. We have noticed that the dog does go out late evening and sniff around as if he can smell another animal. He did not pester the hedgehog the other evening.
