I think our garden is just too busy for a hog to get a decent days kip, especially now we have squirrels exploring every nook and cranny in a bid to bury their nuts!
I’ve got a great video of next doors cat falling asleep in the flower bed whilst stalking the wood mice; thankfully he wears a bell so he doesn’t have much luck.
As for the slug trails; how on earth does a large green slug 3 to 4 inches long (the average size of our gastropods) manage to walk across a spiders web and it still remain intact? Goodness only knows what’s in there!
