Hi, I had googled hedgehog noises and listened to them prior to hearing this poor pog, that helped with recognition. There were distinct differences in this case, although I shot out of bed as soon as I heard the poor thing in any case. Regards the sign, I know such signs have been implemented in some areas of the country, that’s where I got the idea from. I would say it was down to local parish councils but I bet you have to supply the sign yourself. Although call me cynical I doubt it would work anyway, people either love animals and watch out when driving or they don’t. We have signs in our cars and one in our garden, might make people think hopefully.
