From time to time he wandered off chuntering then came back and began it all over again. She crouched and kind of flattened her self to the ground while (eventually) he mounted her. This went on until about 1.30 this morning!! We cannot get over the noise she was making, initially I thought they were going to fight, but there was no aggression. He even followed her into one of the feeding stations, but that didn’t seem to impress her much. Eventually they just parted and went their separate ways. I feel so excited, I thought the mating season was around June but these two obviously aren’t aware of that…
