For the past two summers I have had several hedgehogs coming into the garden and eating the food that I put out for them. This year it was a promising start with three regulars and a lot of lengthy, courting attempts going on, but sadly I haven’t seen a hedgehog since May of this year?? I have continued to put food and water out, but it was being left. Is this common??
