@Prof I can often tell if hogs have eaten the food by the state of the dish. Hedgehogs are messy eaters so if the remains are clean and tidy it may be a cat. I would recommend investing in a trailcam though, I’ve seen badgers and foxes I wouldn’t have known visited not to mention hedgehog antics caught on camera.
