Doorbell camera inside the feeding station.

Hello,
We have a feeding station with a Yale doorbell camera installed inside it.
When we click on the mobile phone to see what is currently happening, day or night, the picture is perfectly clear.
However, at night time, when motion is detected, sound can be heard but everything is really dark.
Night vision is switched on. Can anyone advise what we are doing wrong please?
