We have had a few days now when the hedgehog activity has been getting less and less. Last night there was nothing. Is this normal, as we had – until recently – had at least two hogs staying during the day in the hut we have provided?

Hi ElizR glad you see Hogs, i had 1 stay in house all winter but come the warmer weather he has found somewhere else. They do like staying out side mostly,
but still comes back for water and food every night, so wouldn’t worry. Soon i will give the house a good clean out and leave fresh straw in case any more want to move in.

Thank you so much for your reply.
We have also cleaned out the hut and – like you – put in fresh straw just in case!
