    Hi,
New to the forum, but we have a number of hedgehogs that either transit or live in the garden, which we capture on our security cameras. We think two of our hedgehog houses are occupied and the third is prepared, but empty. The non resident hogs come eat the food and then go and explore the area. So we are delighted when they keep coming back.

But we are a bit worried about one of them. Hector, as we like to call him, is a pretty large guy and scratches his rear (sides) a lot. He scratches maybe every four or five steps using both of his back legs. Is this normal? He has a great appetite, is quite plump and drinks his fair share of water and is out and about most nights as he is a resident. The cameras are in B/W and we can’t see anything obvious on his body. But any advice would be welcome.
    Thanks
    Mark and Alison
