Halton Housing Trust backs Hedgehog Street

Residents in Runcorn and Widnes have been called on to act as good neighbours to the area’s hedgehogs.

Halton Housing Trust (HHT) is backing the Hedgehog Street Campaign and asking customers to embrace the borough’s wildlife.

Kelly McKeown, HHT neighbourhood regeneration officer, said: “Part of building better communities has to be considering the wildlife that lives in our neighbourhood, if people could give a little thought to these animals then we could make a difference in the area.”
