Hedgehog Ecology and Land Management – the course for ecologists and land managers

14th May 2019

This unique training course provides a professional guide to hedgehog ecology, surveying and mitigation.

Developed back in 2015 in partnership with the British Hedgehog Preservation Society (BHPS) and hedgehog experts like Dr Pat Morris & Dr Nigel Reeve, this course targets people involved in the management of public spaces or private amenity land. This includes consultants, landscape architects and developers.

Hugh Warwick, Hedgehog Officer, giving a talk to trainees

So far the course has been delivered across different sites around the UK and numerous organisations, who have all gone away from the course with a better understanding of how to help hedgehogs in their daily working.

Thanks to the support of our dedicated Champions like you, we have been able to put on these courses at a discounted price, which means we can reach more people and spread awareness of hedgehog decline in the industry.

The more people we can get to “think hedgehog” the better we can help protect our spiky friends in the natural habitat.

If you are an ecologist or consultant, and think you would benefit from attending this course please check out the next available dates here:
