Really good to hear you have hogs there! It’s brilliant that they can roam freely between yours and your neighbours garden. The ideal thing for them is if you can get even more people nearby to link their gardens. Hogs can travel up to 2 miles a night, so they need more space than we might imagine.

If loads of gardens are linked (it would be nice if they all were!) there is less need for the hogs to cross roads to find suitable habitat. So that is a really good way to help them and so easy.

If you don’t leave water out for them already, a source of water all day every day is good. I use wide, but shallow plant saucers, not so deep that a hoglet can get stuck. The wider the better – hogs are very clever at tipping water bowls, etc. over – why walk round a bowl of water when you can walk across it!
