I have been feeding a young hedgehog throughout the winter after we found it in November. It has fed virtually every evening. Unfortunately rats have also been going to the food. I hadn’t seen the hedgehog for a couple of weeks, we also have a night camera. Today we had a look under the small lean to where I thought it had its nest. We found it dead in its nest. But very close by was a dead rat. Does anyone have any ideas as to what might have happened?
