The important thing is that the hedgehogs have sufficient suitable habitat for their needs. The only reason for us to offer them food is to supplement that where there is not sufficient habitat for their needs. From what you say, there is lots of good habitat around, so it may be that there is no need for them to visit your garden. If that is the case, it sounds like an ideal scenario from the hedgehogs’ point of view if they are able to live more naturally without human interferance. A natural diet has to be better for them than any artificial food which we could offer.
