During the winter I have had one hog visiting that I think arrived as a youngster last June. At that time I had three visitrs but went on holiday and was let down by the person who was going to feed them. Last night the camera showed the winter hog plus two larger hogs. Hopefully these are my other two come back.

    Hi JeffH

That’s great news that there are 3 hogs again.

What we feed them should really only be supplementary to what they can find for themselves so, theoretically, they should be ok whilst you are away. It’s important to leave water, though. But also important to make your garden as wildlife friendly as you can, so that there is natural food available.

Hope you continue to enjoy the visits of all 3 hogs. Happy hog watching!
