Last night we had two hogs visiting, they had dinner and a drink together then went under my wooden bench and there was a lot of snuffling and puffing so I left them to it!!! 😱

Very lucky to have had a hibernating hedgehog under an old fern this last Winter. Fern required renovating so when the hog had moved on, we quickly put a hog house under an old wood pile, quite near to the fern. Haven’t checked to see if it is being used in the day though. The fern got renovated and even if the hog house is not used the fern will once more provide good cover this next Winter.

I was getting two hedgehogs, then three and tonight had four, feeding on the patio together. Had seven last year. The numbers are building up. Hope when it gets a bit lighter to be able to take photographs.
