I live in Thornham, Royton & have had hedgehogs in my small back garden for the past 5 yrs or so. However, so far this year i have seen NO evidence of any hedgehogs visiting so far. Unfortunately I found a dead one at the side of Rochdale Rd near Hanging Chadder this morning. Has anyone in the Lindale Ave area observed any hedgehogs this year????

    Hi dickjoe

Sorry I don’t live near there, but your post will shortly disappear off the front page, so by my replying it will move nearer back to the top where someone near you might notice it.

Sorry to hear about the dead hog. Don’t forget to enter it onto the Big Hedgehog Map. It’s important as it gives an idea of how many roadkilled hogs there are. Helps to give a better picture of what is really happening.

Hopefully by now some other hogs have turned up to visit your garden. Good luck.
