Best type of camera

I would like to get a little outdoor camera to check see if I have hedgehogs visiting my pond. There is no electricity there . Any recommendations ? Also small enough afterwards to use in a hog house

There’s some advice in existing threads including these:I would just emphasise that the general rule is that you get what you pay for. We started out “cheap” just to have a quick look see what was going on and bought Crenova. We have had three now and had issues with all of them. I should say we only bought one, two were replacements, they are very good at replacing them with “new” models but they are unreliable.
We then went for a Browning, around x3 the price of a Crenova but it just does what is says it will do. So far very reliable and good quality stills and videos and sound.
