    It is a ‘live’ trap luckily – she’s fine! And cute and was happy to be released! we were meant to catch a rat not a cheeky hedgehog! At least she enjoyed some supper of wild bird food.

    That was a very lucky hedgehog. But your experience just illustrates how dangerous the Goodlife A24 traps are for hedgehogs. Showing that hedgehogs can easily get into traps intended for rats. I expect you will have seen ‘conversations’ about the A24 and the Petition regarding it, on the Forum. If it had been one of those it would be a very different story. We really need to get the licence for them removed in this country, at the earliest opportunity, for the sake of the nation’s hedgehogs.
