Caught on camera taking leaves into hedehog house

We have at least two, one large and one smaller hedgehog visting our feeding station every night. We caught the biggie taking leaves into our hedgehog house on camera a few nights ago. There were 8 separate visits between 7.30pm and 5am last night and we had a visit at 7.30am a couple of days ago.
There still are some around naturefriend. I have one at the moment coming in. Did have two up to a couple of days ago.

Hi we have a feeding station and a hedgehog house next to it in our garden with a wild life camera set up and every night for the last month the female hedgehog has come into our garden straight into feeding station and eats
A whole bowl of hedgehog biscuits then goes into the hedgehog house were there is hay and she takes in leaves it’s great to watch herThat’s smashing, perhaps the taking in of leaves is a sign your hog might hibernate soon?!
I had my wildlife camera for Christmas and it has been such fun for all the family to watch our hedgehog visitors every night! I didn’t think we’d be getting much activity until Spring, so we’ve been surprised, but thrilled! Like you we keep putting out biscuits, so I guess the hedgehogs know there is good, easy grub to be found. Enjoy 🙂
