2 year ago in mid November I was feeding Hogs with catfood as I know the underweights will be hungry. First one appeared around 21:30 , put it in my “big box” full of paper shreddings . it was 300gms .. I stepped back outside minutes later .. another one into the big box again about 300gms , back out side , another one 300gms again , then again another at 275gms .. I think I got the whole brood 4 in 10 mins .. they went to South Essex wildlife rescue for the winter , but for the 3 days they were in my living room in the big box , it was a stinky time 🙂

    Hi fluffvogel

Well done for rescuing the hoglets. I’m not at all surprised the box got a bit stinky – they are normally cleaned out daily, with only one in a box, so with 4 of them it must have got a bit mucky. Although I wasn’t totally sure why they had to stay in your living room for 3 days!? I hope they all survived the winter and came safely back home for release.
