I am very lucky where I live in South Devon we have regular hedgehog visitors in our village. This year the most we had at once was 4 that I could see on the night camera. About 3 weeks ago there was a mum and 2 young ones on the camera coming to my feeding houses. The young ones look plump and as far as I can see on the camera look healthy. They were getting through 4 bowls of dried cat biscuits a night. Now they are just eating 1 so I think some may have moved off. I have a sleeping house as well but it is usually only used off and on through the summer. It is half hidden under a log pile. I have seen leaves in the entrance and didn,t know if they had just blown in there with the storms we have had. Anyway yesterday I put some hay outside the house and this morning it has been dragged into the house so I am hoping I have a hibernator !
