I’m new to HedgehogStreet and we recently downsized our house and we have a back yard that we are in the process of turning into a wildlife area. Have any others experience of encouraging hogs to come into backyards via alleyways? What will attract them? Thank you
(We have a backgate with the large enough gap at the bottom)

Food, food and food as a short answer!

If you make sure that you have water, places for them to live – eg wood piles, long grass etc, then if they are in your area they will come.

You can put out cat biscuits also which they will smell.

Just be on the lookout for badgers also coming which you don’t want to encourage
