We are pleased to have seen our first one this year tonight(we have had families the past few years) . We are a bit worried it’s a bit early? Think it’s been around June we usually see the first sightings. Would be interested in folks thoughts. Thank you in advance

    Hi eve0604

Pleased to hear you have seen a hedgehog there. No it isn’t too early. The males usually start to return in March and the females in April. This year some of the boys were a bit late – due the beast from the east, I imagine. Fingers crossed you see some families again this year.

If you have already signed it, please try to get at least 5 others to sign as well – and pass the message on. Time is running out. Less than 6 weeks left and still a long way to go.

I have had my hog visit nightly since 11th April – when I started to put food out.
