delighted to report that there was a hog in the feeder last night – first time since October. I had been a bit concerned as in previous couple of years there had been hogs around a lot earlier than this (last year a large hog was around from January). Have been putting dry food in the feeder over the winter just in case, and glad that now it’s not just the mouse getting it. Am north of Inverness so good to know Highland hogs are about again.

    Hi Mags63

I’m glad to hear you’ve got a hog back there, at last! It’s so nice when they are back and worrying when they are late. The ones here were late too, but I have finally seen 2 different hogs – one at a time – about a month later than usual.

I hope the one there has encouraged some of his/her friends by now.

Good luck and happy hog watching.
