Flies around hedgehog box

A couple of flies buzzing round hedgehog box (with hog inside). Should I do anything or leave him be. ( seen on camera)
Hi Hector
If you mean it is a hog house for the hog to sleep in, it sounds a bit worrying. Do you know if the hog is still active. If not, or if you are worried about it, the best thing to do is contact your local hog carer and explain the situation to them. You can find your nearest one from the BHPS on 01584 890801.
If it’s a box that’s had food in it, it may need a good clean out with boiling water to make sure any eggs are killed.
