    Hi

My pupils have been making footprint traps to see what small mammals are around our school grounds and one of them has produced the following result,
which I believe is hedgehog. But before I tell them I wanted to make sure I was correct so if anyone can confirm or deny I would be very grateful.

    Hopefully the image works

    Hi bpbill

Well they’ve certainly made a bit of a mess of that! I’m not an expert on hedgehog tracks, but they look pretty much like hedgehog tracks, to me. https://www.hedgehogstreet.org/about-hedgehogs/tracks-and-signs/

Looks as if you are lucky enough to have hedgehog/s in your school grounds!

Another link with other animals tracks as well:

p.s. I put this separately because the Forum doesn’t always like more than one link in a single post.
