    Our little hedgehog(now grown),likes to take her plastic bowl( the size for a small plant to stand in), out of the house onto our patio for collection every morning. Now & again the water bowl gets moved just so I fill it up every day for her.

    Yes, hogs naturally would tip stones, pieces of wood, etc. over to see if there’s any wild food underneath, so tipping up a bowl is just common nature to them. Sounds as if the one there has got the direction worked out right as well!

    Hi Nic, she doesn’t tip it upside down, just places it the right way up, moves some stones by her home. She was in her home for over 40 minutes tonight munching her food.
